We’re able to find cotton products easily and they are almost all based on white cotton. However, cotton has three color tones, not only white but also has brown and green.
Natural Colored Cotton, which we call as NCC, is cotton that is naturally colored. It is a phenomenon that occurs when pigment deposits in the process of differentiation and development of cells in fibers. In other words, natural color in cotton comes from pigments found in cotton; these pigments can produce shades ranging from tan to green and brown.
NCC is completely organic, and they have no dyeing process. It is relatively expensive because it requires specialized harvest techniques and facilities as below:
Special cultivation process and environment for NCC
-Cleanse the soil with no crops for three years to grow after the soil has been sufficiently nourished.
-No residue of fertilizer pesticide.
-The natural-colored cotton is cultivated in separate soil, and all processes such as production and storage are controlled separately.
By producing it in special process, NCC has following features and advantages.
Features
- Skin affinity : pleasant and soft
- Anti-static electricity
- Highly air-ventilated, excellent sweat-out function
- Anti-ultraviolet rays
Cost reduction
-The cost of dyeing, chemical material, water and electricity is reduced compared to ordinary dyeing because it requires only water-washing.
No harmful substances
- Any harmful substances are not added to the entire process from raw materials to products.
Environmental-friendly
- There is no need for the addition of environmental pollutants in the production process and therefore no emission of environmental pollutants.
